Rode Blimp

The Rode Blimp is a professional-grade windshield and shock mount system designed to enhance audio recording quality by effectively isolating microphones from handling noise and minimizing wind interference. It features the Rycote® Lyre® suspension system, which provides superior isolation from handling noise, ensuring clear and precise recordings. The Blimp's ultra-lightweight and ergonomic handle facilitates easy handling and maneuverability during use. It is compatible with shotgun microphones up to 325mm in length, making it versatile for various recording setups. The system includes a heavy-duty Mogami® cable housed within the grip, connecting to a flexible thin cable inside the Blimp, effectively minimizing vibration transference to the microphone. For mounting, the Blimp attaches to any standard boompole with a 3/8-inch thread attachment at its base. Included accessories are the Dead Wombat windshield, a caring brush, and a tail/patch cable, providing comprehensive support for optimal performance.
